Pecan Street Festival

Huge biannual arts and crafts festival on historic 6th Street with hundreds of vendors and live music.

The Pecan Street Festival is one of the largest arts and crafts festivals in the United States, held biannually on historic 6th Street (originally named Pecan Street). Hundreds of artisan vendors display and sell original works including painting, sculpture, jewelry, pottery, and photography. Three stages feature live music throughout the day, and food vendors serve Austin favorites. The spring and fall events each draw over 200,000 visitors to the historic entertainment district, creating a street-festival atmosphere that celebrates Austin's creative community.
